How to Enter

Please pay your entry fees or $100 deposit (which Entry fees should be paid on our Fees & Tickets page. will go towards your fees).
Applications, bios, and headshots may be submitted at a later time. The entry fee (minus any Early Bird savings) must be paid by January 1. Door entries will NOT be accepted. Remember to get your applications and deposits in early.
The first deposit/entry fee received in each group is the last contestant in the line-up in that group. The last deposit/entry fee received in each group is the first contestant in the line-up.

**By submitting the deposit or entry fees, please understand there are no refunds, transfers, or rollovers given and you agree to abide by the rules as stated in the pageant’s Code of Conduct.
Miss Ga South believes in maintaining contestant confidentiality. In the spirit of pageantry, please do not request or disclose names or number of contestants in any age group.
Eligibility
-
Ages 0-15 and Ms. contestants may reside in ANY state but must meet age requirements as of Jan 1, 2027.
Ms. Contestants must be ages 19 and up.

Teen and Miss contestants must live, work, or attend school in Georgia. Teen contestants must be Ages 14-18 as of January 1, 2027.
Miss Contestants must be age 19-up as of January 1, 2027—may be single, married, divorced, etc.

The pageant will be held at the Performing Arts Center at Valdosta High School located at 3101 Barack Obama Blvd in Valdosta, Georgia.

Hotel details will be posted on all social media platforms soon, although you are welcome to stay at any hotel you prefer. Our official host hotel is the Comfort Suites at 1332 North Saint Augustine Rd, Valdosta, GA. 31601. Their phone number is 229-359-4079.

Registration will be open from 2:00-7:30 pm for ages 4-15, as well as any other contestant wanting to register early. Contestants will receive their numbers, turn in their photogenic entries, turn in their two $5 gifts for the newly crowned queens in your division, pay any remaining fees, purchase admission tickets, and buy People’s Choice tickets.

Interviews times for ages 4-15:
3:00 pm Interview for ages 4-6
4:00 pm Interviews for ages 7-9
5:00 pm Interview for ages 10-12
6:00 pm Interview for ages 13-15
The FIESTA Party for all ages will be from 4:00-7:30 pm. Lots of fun, food, music, & party favors will be provided. Awards will be given for the Best Fiesta Costume!

Registration for ages 0-3 is 7:00-8:30 am.
Main stage opens for practice from 6:00–8:45 am for ages 0-15.
PLEASE NOTE THERE ARE TO BE NO PHOTOS OR VIDEOS TAKEN INSIDE THE AUDITORIUM. THIS WILL BE CLOSELY MONITORED. CONTESTANTS ARE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL FAMILY MEMBERS AND/OR GUESTS AND MAY BE DISQUALIFIED IF THIS OCCURS BY ANY PARTY.
9:00 am is Pageant & crowning for ages 0-3
1:00 pm Pageant & crowning for ages 4-9
4:30 pm Pageant & crowning for ages 10-15
6:30 pm Group photo of all new queens ages 0–15 years.
For ages 0-15 Beauty will be first, followed by Fun Fashion, & Crowning for each of the 3 breakdowns. We ask ages 0-15 to change back into their competition Beauty dress for crowning.
5:00-7:00 pm Registration for Teen, Miss, & Ms. Contestants will receive their numbers, turn in their photogenic entries, turn in their two $5 gifts for the new queens in your division, pay any remaining fees, purchase admission tickets, and buy People’s Choice tickets.
7:00-8:00 pm Orientation & Opening Number Rehearsal for Teen, Miss, & Ms.
8:00-9:30 pm Teen & Miss will be learning the Swimsuit/Active Wear & Gown walking patterns during this Rehearsal.
Ms. contestants will be doing the traditional Backwards T walk and can practice on Sunday.

The Miss GA South Pageant will be judged on the following basis:
In Beauty, contestants in Ages 0-15 and Ms. will be scored in:
Facial Beauty (1-10 points)
Poise/Personality (1-10 points)
and Overall Appearance (1-10 points)
In Fun Fashion, Ages 0-15 and Ms. will be scored in
Stage Presence/Personality (1-10 points)
Overall Appearance (1-10 points).
Interviews for Ages 4-15 will be a panel interview—and scored in
Personality (1-10 points)

Interviews for ages 4-15 and Ms. contestants will be a fun 2-minute panel interview with questions based on the application/bio you submit.
For ages 0-15 & Ms, our stage will be marked as a Backwards T with 3 Xs in the front of the stage and 1 X in the back. Contestants ages 0-15 & Ms. can walk the stage however they choose but should not go over 60 seconds in Beauty and 60 seconds for Fun Fashion. Judges are at their own discretion to deduct points for going over time. Teen & Miss contestants will have a specific walking pattern they will learn during rehearsal. We will post a diagram of the walking pattern closer to the pageant date.
JUDGES’ COMMENTS will be emailed to all contestants WITHIN 3 WEEKS AFTER the pageant to the email address on the application you submitted. Failure to provide a valid email address forfeits the right to receive judges’ comments. Please do not call or email to receive scores. Sending out scores/comments is time consuming. Please be patient.

Teen and Miss contestants competing in the Ms GA South pageant will be scored equally in:
Personal Interview (Communication Skills, Personality, Appearance, Overall Impression)
Swimsuit/Active Wear (Physical Fitness, Stage Presence, Overall Impression)
Evening Gown (Stage Presence, Style, Poise, Overall Impression)
The Top Teen & Miss Finalists will also have an On-Stage Interview (Personality, Potential to be Miss USA/Teen USA, Overall Impression).
The Personal Interview for Teen and Miss will be a 2-minute panel interview with questions based on the contestant’s bio. The On-Stage Interview with the Teen and Miss Finalists will be one question from their bio and one random question submitted by the judges.

Prizes & Awards

Two winners in each age group (including GA South & GA North) will be crowned.
To be eligible for Miss GA North title, simply pay an additional:
$109 (for ages 0-15 & Ms. ages 19-up) OR
$159 (for Teen & Miss).
The GA North title will go to the runner-up and will receive the same prizes as the GA South queen in each age group.

We will also crown a Supreme Queen in each breakdown for ages 0-3, 4-9, and 10-15. (Girls ages 13-15 can compete in the Junior or Teen group—depending on their age/eligibility and preference to compete at Miss GA Teen USA)

Interview Award will be presented to each age group winner in ages 4-15 and Ms. group.

Item People’s Choice Award
A People’s Choice winner will be awarded in each age group. Additionally, we will also award one Overall People’s Choice for ages 0-15 and one Overall People’s Choice for Teen/Miss/Ms. Tickets for the people’s choice award can be purchased for $2 at any point before the crowning of each age group. Online voting for People’s Choice will be available at a later date. Everyone must submit a headshot for People’s Choice and for publicity purposes.

(Updated prizes will be listed on our Social Media pages) The winner of Miss GA Teen USA will advance to the national Miss Teen USA Pageant and Miss GA USA will advance to the national Miss USA Pageant and possibly Miss Universe.
